This place is a hidden gem! The overall atmosphere of the cafe is very cozy, warm, and welcoming. Whenever I'm in the area I'll stop by for a coffee and a bite to eat. They are always adding new options to their menu, and I try to have something different every time I go. I have never been disappointed by any of their items. The baristas are all very friendly and happy. They even do live events there sometimes, I caught an awesome comedy show one night. One thing I haven't tried is the rolled ice cream, that will be on my list to cross off next!

The cutest cafe in Rahway. The menu has a variety of options so there's a little something for everyone. It offers anything from coffee, teas, smoothies & even ice cream! Great space for those who WFH. Staff was very nice and greeted us with kindness. Food was delicious, we had some of their sandwiches and we couldn't rave enough about their hibiscus cooler 10/10. We liked it so much we got two! Definitely refreshing on a hot summer day. All in all, anytime I'm in Rahway I'll be visiting Melao again. They have events like comedy shows and open mic nights throughout the month so I'd love to check out one of those next time I'm in town.

Relaxing ambiance for meet ups or getting some work done. They have a diverse menu of options. I got a strawberry banana smoothie with peanut butter, my usual go to. It wasn't my favorite smoothie so I'd try something different if there's a next time.

seven seven, am i in heaven, no im in hell with all of my brethren. the smoothie was booty, made me a little moody, and it was during pride month, so it was a little fruity. someone greta, i ate my arepa, it was quite great, but not quite an 8 (callback to the 7s earlier (for those who get it)). the vegan blt i ate it with glee, and donald duck counting racks, hes just like me

I had the opportunity of patronizing this lovely place today. My Bestie is a loyal customer and always gets her pumpkin spice latte. I decided to go with that and a waffle with walnut, white chocolate chips , bananas and their rolled cheese cake ice cream. By reading that I hope you can understand how tasty everything was. I was also excited about how the food was plated. They have a intimate homey feel with a modern twist. The art work on the wall reminded me of my bed room wall. I also have interesting paintings. I just loved it.

Very cute and cozy vibes. My bestie and I are on the hunt for a great coffee spot that ISN'T a mainstream chain and we came across this one during our hunt. First thing I can point out that I love is the option to mobile order which I fully took advantage of! However, be prepared to hunt for parking, particularly if it's a Saturday night. Not the worst thing in the world, but I was not expecting it to be that...time consuming. When I walked in, the girls who greeted me seemed super kind and inviting. I identified my mobile order which they had sitting ready in the fridge - super thoughtful of them versus letting it sit out and melt all over the place. I ordered the Iced Raspberry White Mocha Latte w/Skim and I loved it. I thought it was a great balance of flavor and coffee without being overpowering or watered down. I'm excited to try more items on their menu. The ambiance of the space is super chill and cozy - I'm absolutely a fan. They have Wi-Fi and a bathroom, so this place can serve multiple purposes, which we love, AND they're open later than conventional coffee shops, so it's another perk you can expect from this place. So happy we came across this spot. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Stopped in for a coffee and bought a croissant egg cheese after taking the train. Hip spot with free wifi and a restroom! Egg and cheese croissant was $8 and coffee was $5

Stumbled into this cafe after dinner in the area and looking for something sweet. Place was packed, gave a super cool, 90s, chill/hippy, cafe vibe. Comfy seating, crowded but not cramped, smooth and inviting, I was drawn in. Yummy hot chocolates and rolled ice cream "Blondie" later I was in heaven. Sat right there and ate everything lol. Customer service was also on point, so happy I found this place! Check it out :)

Went here from the Yelp Elite invite and the whole experience was awesome! First of all, the location is very accessible right by the Rahway station. Limited parking but many options a block away if you are driving. I tried two items. First is Chocolate Rolled Ice cream mixed with cookie dough. I added it with strawberry, banana and chocolate chips and nutella toppings. This was very delicious. I think the chocolate chips they use was the secret to its taste. We also tried the waffle with strawberries and nutella. Strawberries were fresh and overall 10/10. I brought the food to go so unfortunately wasn't able to take picture of the rolled ice cream. I highly recommend and will visit again soon!
